Oklahoma and Texas are both still in the mix to land 4-star athlete Terry Bussey in the class of 2024.

On Wednesday, Bussey released his top 11 programs. In addition to the Sooners and Longhorns, Bussey is still considering Auburn, TCU, Florida, Oregon, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Tennessee, Alabama and LSU.

Here’s his announcement:

Bussey is an elite prospect nationally and is bordering on 5-star status. He’s currently ranked as the No. 50 overall player and the No. 4 athlete in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

While there’s plenty of tough competition for Bussey, both Oklahoma and Texas have a strong proximity advantage. Bussey attends Timpson High School in Timpson, Texas.

Oklahoma is currently on a hot streak on the recruiting trail. The Sooners have 6 commitments so far in the class of 2024, 5 of which joined the class within the last month.

Texas is still building out its 2024 class. The Longhorns currently have 3 commitments in their class. The group is led by 4-star athlete Hunter Modden.

Here are some highlights from Bussey’s junior season:
