Ole Miss adds 2024 commitment from edge defender out of Georgia

Lane Kiffin’s staff has gone into Georgia to find the newest addition to Ole Miss’ 2024 recruiting class.
Maurice Davis from Albany, Georgia has pledged to play for the Rebels. The sought-after edge defender announced the big news Saturday on his Twitter account.

A Dougherty standout, Davis is listed as measuring 6-5, 210 pounds. On the 247Sports composite ratings, Davis is rated 3-stars, the No. 40 edge defender and No. 598 prospect overall nationally in the Class of 2024.
Davis picked up scholarship offers from 18 schools, including Texas and Colorado, during his recruitment. He took June official visits to Ole Miss, Louisville and USF before announcing his commitment.
