Four-star LB Breon Dixon isn’t a Rebel yet, but he’s likely added some more bitterness to the Egg Bowl rivalry.
In a tweet which has since been deleted, Dixon slammed new Mississippi State defensive coordinator Todd Grantham for claiming he planned to be at Louisville “for at least 3 more years.”
In a tweet that is still up, Dixon references coaches not being committed to their jobs while trying to gain recruits’ pledges.
Expect the players to be committed to the program when they not even really committed to they players smh sad

Grantham was announced as Mississippi State’s defensive coordinator on Wednesday, which got Dixon’s attention. In Grantham’s defense, reporting by Football Scoop indicates that it was not his decision to leave Louisville. If so, Dixon’s frustration might be aimed at the wrong person.
The report states that Peter Sirmon, MSU’s former defensive coordinator, has been in agreement with Louisville to be the next defensive coordinator, but the school waited to announce that hiring until Grantham found other employment. Grantham’s new job happened to be at Mississippi State in what amounts to a rare assistant swap between the two schools.
It’s not clear if Grantham knew he would not be back with the Cardinals when Dixon visited Louisville on Dec. 11. Dixon committed to Ole Miss on Jan. 1.
