Ole Miss defense swarms Taylen Green, scores strip-sack touchdown to open scoring

Ole Miss fell just short of finding the end zone on their opening drive. Jaxson Dart found Juice Wells in the end zone for a touchdown, but it was called back due to offensive pass interference. The Razorbacks then held strong at the goal-line on 4th down to swing early momentum in their favor.
Or… so they thought. Ole Miss’s defense responded immediately, swarming Arkansas QB Taylen Green to force a strip-sack. Princely Umanmielen recovered the ball in the end zone, giving the Rebels a 7-0 lead.

The above is Ole Miss’s 7th recovered fumble this season. The Rebels’ turnover margin ranks just outside the top 25 heading into Week 10, and so far they’re winning in that department early against the Razorbacks.
For Arkansas, that’s a back-breaker – especially after an incredibly impressive effort to hold the Rebels on the defensive end. To add insult to injury, Green suffered an injury on the ensuing drive following his fumble – and his status to return to Saturday’s game is uncertain.
It’s not all bad for Arkansas, though. The Razorbacks were still able to collect a field goal after Green went down, making it a 7-3 game with 3:19 to go in the opening quarter.
Let’s see how Jaxson Dart responds after his 6-for-6 start through the air.
