Ole Miss defensive lineman Zxavian Harris was reportedly arrested and booked on Sunday evening.

According to multiple reports, the junior defensive tackle was charged with domestic violence and obstructing arrest. He was reportedly booked at 6:42 p.m. on Sunday.

The incident marks the second time in the last 13 months Harris has had charges brought against him. In July 2023, he was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, being a minor in possession, not using headlights, running a stop sign and felony fleeing. According to the Clarion LedgerHarris entered into a pre-trial intervention program as a result.

In light of the domestic violence charge, Harris is being removed from that program and his 2023 case is going back on the docket.

The Canton, Mississippi, native appeared in 11 games for the Rebels last season. He started 7 of those 11 games and played more than 300 snaps between defensive and special teams roles. He ended the year with 30 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack while also blocking an SEC-leading 3 kicks. One of those blocks secured a 38-35 win for Ole Miss over Texas A&M last fall.

Harris joined the program in 2022 and has been a part of the rotation ever since. He was expected to once again play a role along the defensive front for the Rebels in 2024.
