ESPN’s Rod Gilmore is the analyst for Saturday afternoon’s Ole Miss-Arkansas game, and he is apparently annoying Rebel fans to no end.

Already during the broadcast, Rebel fans are upset with Gilmore that he keeps referring to Ole Miss as “Mississippi.” Yes, it is the University of Mississippi, but “Ole Miss” is what nearly everyone calls the school.

Everyone except Gilmore, it seems. Even his partner, Dave Fleming, is saying Ole Miss. Let’s just say Ole Miss fans have noticed Gilmore’s broadcasting decision, and they aren’t happy.

Here are just a few of the reactions calling for Gilmore to start saying “Ole Miss”:

Just a few weeks ago, ESPN broadcaster Louis Riddick got called out by Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ mom for referring to her son as “Pat.” He and the crew laughed it off and made the change.

Perhaps Gilmore could do the same?
