Ole Miss has flipped a three-star defensive end that was previously committed to Arkansas.
On Monday morning, Ryder Anderson out of Katy, TX announced his decision to break his pledge with the Hogs and plans on heading to Oxford next season instead. Anderson made these comments via Twitter:
“I am now committed to attend and play football at the University of Mississippi. I truly believe that this is where God has guided me and I am thankful and excited! #HottyToddy”

Anderson (6-foot-7, 230 pounds) is the No. 75 player at his position from the 2017 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. He committed to Arkansas back in June, but received an offer from Ole Miss on Nov. 17. The timing of Anderson’s commitment is interesting, as Ole Miss does not have a defensive coordinator after the school announced Dave Wommack would retire at the conclusion of the season.
Ryder is the younger brother of Oklahoma sophomore running back Rodney Anderson.
