Ole Miss guard Aaron Morris will miss the Peach Bowl with a torn ACL, reports Hugh Kellenberger of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger.

Morris tore his ACL in the same knee he injured in 2013, causing him to miss the Rebels’ final 12 games of last season. The redshirt junior started 11 games this season for Hugh Freeze.

Freeze said Morris sustained the injury late in the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State, according to the Clarion-Ledger.

“Typically, the second time is a bit longer,” Freeze said on Monday. “That’s why went ahead [and declared Morris out] … have him back for fall camp.”

Morris used his medical redshirt last season during his first ACL injury. Freeze said that Morris should be back by August, though he admitted he’s never certain on the timetable with ACL injuries.

Wideout Vince Sanders will miss the Peach Bowl with a torn ACL, while backup linebacker Taylor Polk suffered a broken hand, but is expected to play in the bowl game vs. TCU.
