The Rebels stay hot on the recruiting trail and have landed the second commitment of Sunday from defensive back A.J. Harris.

Harris, of Madison, Ala., announced the news via Twitter:

The 6-foot, 190-pound Harris is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 31 safety in the nation and the No. 21 overall prospect from Alabama, according to 247Sports. Harris chose the Rebels over offers from Tennessee, Mississippi, State, Missouri, Florida State, Michigan and Nebraska, among others.

Upon hearing the news, Scout.com recruiting analyst Chad Simmons had some high praise for the Rebels latest commit saying Harris, “Will be a leader in the #HottyToddy secondary one day.”
