Ole Miss lands commitment from 2021 Atlanta CB, former South Carolina pledge

After previously committing to an SEC East program, Demarko Williams has now pledged to an SEC West team.
The 3-star cornerback out of Westlake High School in Atlanta committed to the Rebels on Wednesday. The 5-10, 175-pounder is rated the No. 49 cornerback and No. 656 prospect overall nationally in the 2021 class on the 247Sports Composite.
Williams who has 11 scholarship offers originally committed to South Carolina on Jan. 21, 2020 after attending the Gamecocks’ Junior Day on Jan. 18. Ole Miss offered him on March 5 and he decommitted from South Carolina later that month (March 27). In between the two commitments, he also picked up offers from Arkansas, Florida State and Kentucky.
The addition of Williams gives Ole Miss five commitments in the 2021 class. His junior season highlights (via Hudl) and commitment video can each be viewed below:
