Liggins entered fall camp as the Rebels’ starting left tackle, but was withheld from practice due to a violation of team standards on Aug. 8.
The former LSU quarterback signee moved to offensive tackle full-time in the spring after appearing in every game and making two starts at tight end in 2015. He also saw the field as a quarterback in the wildcat formation.
Last week, Liggins participated in practice ahead of Monday’s game, but was still ruled inactive. However, Freeze did say that he would return to the lineup “soon.”
Freeze says OL Jeremy Liggins will be back "soon." He's practicing but will miss FSU game. Freeze confident in Taylor at LT. #OleMiss
