Matt Luke has landed his first commitment as head coach at Ole Miss.
The Rebels on Friday landed their fourth recruit from the state of Alabama for the Class of 2018. It came from Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa linebacker Jacquez Jones, a 3-star recruit in the 247Sports composite, who gave his verbal pledge to Ole Miss.
In a video posted on Twitter, Jones said, “For the next three to five years, I will be attending the University of Ole Miss. Hotty Toddy.”
The 6-foot, 225-pound Jones has several other SEC offers, including LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee.
Jones also wished his mother a happy birthday with the announcement.
