Two Ole Miss players were arrested shortly after midnight in Oxford.

Safety Trae Elston and wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow were both charged with disorderly conduct. Elston, the rising senior who’s projected to be one of the backbones of the Rebels’ defense in 2015, was also charged with resisting arrest. Stringfellow sat out the 2014 season due to the transfer rule, and he’s figured to play a major role on offense next season.

“We are gathering facts on the matter,” coach Hugh Freeze said in a statement to the Clarion Ledger.

Immediate details aren’t known at this time, and we’ll keep you updated as information is released.
