Ole Miss RB Jordan Wilkins releases statement after being declared ineligible

Ole Miss RB Jordan Wilkins, a redshirt junior, was declared academically ineligible this week due to what the university called an “administrative error.”
When the school’s appeal to the NCAA was denied, Wilkins’ fate was sealed.
Wilkins released a statement on Facebook on Friday night and also tweeted the post, which thanked his supporters through the ordeal:

Wilkins will have one year of eligibility remaining if he’s cleared to play in 2017.
