Ole Miss reveals team captains for key showdown vs. No. 3 Georgia

Ole Miss plays the most important football game of its season today.
The Rebels face off against No. 3 Georgia with their last bid at a CFP berth on the line. If Lane Kiffin’s squad can’t get it done, they’ll more than likely be out of the race for the Field of 12. If they win, they’re firmly in the hunt with 3 weeks of football to go.
On Saturday, Ole Miss announced that Caden Prieskorn, Nate Kalepo and JJ Pegues with serve as the Rebels’ team captains for this top 25 tilt.

The trio, all seniors, will lead the Rebels to the field looking to claim their best win of the season, and what would be perhaps the best win of the Lane Kiffin era.
Pegues is, of course, Ole Miss’s goal line specialist and monster defensive tackle. He’s totaled 2.5 sacks with 32 tackles on defense while rushing for 6 touchdowns on offense.
Prieskorn and Kalepo contribute on the offensive side of things. The former has 17 receptions for 274 yards and 2 touchdowns this season while the latter anchors a strong Ole Miss offensive line.
Ole Miss and Georgia are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. The game will be aired on ABC.
