Ole Miss is expected to host former Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace III on a recruiting visit on Friday, according to a report.

That’s per On3’s Pete Nakos, how notes that Wallace previously visited Louisville during this process. Wallace, who also goes by Trey, entered the transfer portal earlier this week after leading all Penn State wide receivers in yardage in 2024.

Wallace would be a significant addition for the Rebels, if they’re able to land him. He caught 46 passes for 720 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2024 and was Penn State’s premier threat on the outside.

Ole Miss had one of the SEC’s best wide receiver rooms in 2024, but much of its production is moving on to the professional ranks this offseason. Top receivers Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins are set to leave for the NFL, which leaves plenty of production that will need to be replaced in Oxford. Harris and Watkins combined for well over 100 catches and nearly 2,000 receiving yards in 2024.

Wallace could certainly go a long way toward helping those efforts. Lane Kiffin and his staff are always active in the transfer portal, and the 2025 class has been no exception. The Rebels currently have 21 transfer commitments so far this cycle, including 4 from wide receivers.
