Ole Miss without star player for Wednesday night game at Tennessee

Ole Miss faces a tough road trip to open SEC play after last week’s home game against Florida was postponed due to COVID issues in the Gators’ program.
Now, the Rebels will open on the road at Tennessee on Wednesday night, and they’ll have to do it without their best player.
According to Nick Suss, the Rebels will be without Jarkel Joiner due to a back issue for Wednesday night’s game on Rocky Top:
Jarkel Joiner didn't make the trip with #OleMiss basketball to Knoxville tonight, per the team. Dealing with a back injury

Joiner is the only Ole Miss player averaging double-digit points so far this year. He’s averaging 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
His loss will be tough for Kermit Davis and the Rebels to overcome.
