Omar Payne started his college career at Florida, averaging just over 15 minutes per game for the Gators in his 2 seasons in Gainesville.

He transferred to Illinois this past offseason, but his playing time was cut in half, as he averaged 7.4 minutes per night for the Illini.

Now, per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Payne has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal once again:

Payne averaged 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds per game during his 1 year at Illinois. He appeared in 32 games for the Illini, making 3 starts.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Champaign is over.
