If it feels like more players than ever are transferring, it’s because they are.

Michigan QB Brandon Peters recently entered the NCAA transfer portal. As The Athletic’s Max Olson noted, it brings the tally of transferring top-25 247Sports Composite quarterbacks up to 17.

The 17 transfers include plenty of familiar faces. The top two quarterbacks of the class were Shea Patterson and Jacob Eason. Other SEC transfers from the class are Brandon McIlwain (No. 9, South Carolina), Jalen Hurts (No. 13, Alabama) and Woody Barrett (No. 16, Auburn).

Among the non-transfers are Feleipe Franks (No. 5, Florida), Jarrett Guarantano (No. 7, Tennessee) and Jake Bentley (No. 19, South Carolina).
