Pavia is in the national spotlight after leading Vanderbilt to an upset victory over a top-ranked Alabama team. The transfer quarterback was 16-of-20 passing for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns, with no interceptions in the 40-35 Commodore victory. Pavia was also second on the team in rushing, recording 20 carries for 56 yards, with a long of 12.
Monday’s social media post included “Vandy we turnt,” a callback to his postgame interview on SEC Network. The original saying included an f-bomb, which might actually appeal more to some fans.

Pavia, who was obviously caught up in the moment, apologized Sunday via social media for his use of explicit language after the game.
I’m sorry for cussing last night but, God you are the TRUTH AND ALL THE GLORY GOES TO YOU!! For yall that don’t know him, get to know him. HE IS MAGICAL‼️

Pavia and the Commodores have more to worry about than NIL deals right now. Vanderbilt plays at Kentucky on Saturday. UK is a double-digit favorite and has a 68.3% chance to win, according to ESPN’s FPI.
