If you’re into points, check out the Missouri-South Carolina game on Saturday.
The Las Vegas odds makers are pretty sure we’re all going to see some points on the board when the Gamecocks and Tigers meet.
That is evidenced by the fact that the over/under total opened at 74 on Monday.
That’s a big total, but it’s not crazy to think the teams could go over it.
South Carolina scored 35 points against NC State while allowing 28. Mizzou, of course, put up 72 in a wild shootout against in-state foe Missouri State. But the Tigers’ defense allowed 43 and showed no indication that it would be able to slow down an SEC offense.
The O/U for #Mizzou — #USC opens at 74, per @TwitVI.
Goodness.

The biggest question surrounding a total of 74 may be how well a Will Muschamp-coached defense will play against a high-powered offense with Drew Lock at quarterback.
For the record, these two teams have not gone over 52 combined points since Missouri joined the SEC in 2012.
