Opening line released for Missouri-Florida game

Despite an ugly showing against Vanderbilt on Oct. 1., oddsmakers have quite a lot of faith in Florida.

According to the opening line OddsShark released Monday, the Gators are currently favored by 13 points against Missouri, which visits The Swamp at 4 p.m. ET Saturday. The matchup pits the SEC’s best defense (Florida, 229.8 yards per game) against the conference’s second-best offense (Missouri, 508.6 ypg), so something will have to give in the SEC East battle.

Both teams should be fresh after not playing last week — the Tigers (2-3, 0-2) had a scheduled open date, while Florida (4-1, 2-1) indefinitely postponed its game against LSU due to Hurricane Matthew.
