Oscar Delp has scored his first touchdown for the Georgia Bulldogs.
In the third quarter of Saturday’s Georgia-South Carolina game, UGA backup QB Carson Beck found Delp wide open for a 28-yard TD. The Georgia football Twitter account shared a video of the play:

Delp is just one of UGA’s many talented tight ends. Out of West Forsyth (Cumming, Georgia), Delp was rated 4-stars, the No. 2 tight end and No. 100 prospect overall in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports composite rankings.
Delp picked up 33 scholarship offers out of high school. He was heavily pursued by Shane Beamer’s South Carolina staff. It’s safe to say the Gamecocks coach wasn’t surprised at all to see Delp make a highlight grab.
The extra point following Delp’s score extends Georgia’s lead over South Carolina to 45-0 in the third quarter at Williams Brice Stadium. The game, entering the 4th quarter, is airing on ESPN.
