Oscar Tshiebwe named 1 of 4 finalists for Naismith Men’s Player of the Year award

Oscar Tshiebwe and the Kentucky Wildcats didn’t have the season they’d hoped for, bowing out in the SEC Tournament semifinals and losing to 15-seed Saint Peter’s in Round 1 of the NCAA Tournament.
But, that doesn’t take away from the incredible season Tshiebwe had on the floor in Lexington, averaging 17.4 points and 15.2 rebounds per game.
Now, he has been named a finalist for the Naismith Men’s College Player of the Year award, along with 3 other standouts:

Tshiebwe will compete with Keegan Murray of Iowa, Johnny Davis of Wisconsin and Ochai Agbaji of Kansas for the prestigious award.
The winner will be announced on April 3.
