SEC leads the nation with the most selections on 2020 Outland Trophy watch list
In the game of football, many overlook the contributions and accomplishments of the game’s standout interior linemen but not the Outland Trophy.
Given annually to the nation’s best interior lineman, the Outland Trophy has announced 85 players made the award’s 2020 watch list on Tuesday.
No surprise, the Southeastern Conference led the way with 14 total selections and Alabama led all schools with four players listed on the watch list.
In total, 32 offensive tackles, 21 offensive guards, 17 defensive tackles and 15 centers were listed on the watch list.
