The votes are in out west and the media’s preseason pick to win the Pac-12 is Utah. The Utes just edged out Oregon by a single vote to receive more votes than any other league team to win the conference title in 2019.

Pac-12 Media Days were held in Los Angeles this year with a grand total of 35 media members voting in the poll. For comparison’s sake, that’s about how many media members headed to Hoover to cover the South Carolina Gamecocks at 2019 SEC Media Days.

Now that the votes have been cast from Los Angeles, here is the breakdown of the vote:

North Division

1. Oregon (17) 190
2. Washington (17) 189
3. Stanford 129
4. Washington State (1) 108
5. California 81
6. Oregon State 38

(first-place votes in parathesis)

South Division

1. Utah (33) 206
2. USC (2) 167
3. Arizona State 118
4. UCLA 118
5. Arizona 85
6. Colorado 46

(first-place votes in parathesis)

Pac-12 champion votes

  • Utah (12 votes)
  • Oregon (11)
  • Washington (9)
  • USC (2)
  • Washington State (1)
