With the NFL season approaching in a matter of weeks, teams around the league are looking to fill out their rosters and practice squads. Two recent SEC players had an opportunity to work out with one of the top teams of the league on Monday.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, former Tennessee quarterback Quinten Dormady was in for a workout with the Green Bay Packers. Dormady spent 3 seasons with the Volunteers, including a junior campaign in 2017 where he threw for 925 yards and 6 touchdowns on 76-of-137 passing. He transferred to Houston ahead of the 2018 season, but finished his college career at Central Michigan, helping lead the Chippewas to a MAC Championship Game appearance.

Also in with the Packers on Monday was former Missouri wide receiver Damon Hazelton. Following stops at Ball State and Virginia Tech, Hazelton completed his career with the Tigers, making 30 catches for 397 yards and a touchdown in 2020. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans but was cut on Aug. 11.

The Packers open their regular season on Sep. 12 against the New Orleans Saints.
