Missouri head coach Eliah Drinkwitz addressed the media Saturday and provided unfortunate updates for two Tiger linebackers.

Both Carmycah Glass and Chuck Hicks will miss the entirety of the 2022 season, per Drinkwitz. Glass had season-ending surgery for an existing injury while Hicks suffered a torso injury in Missouri’s most recent scrimmage.

Hicks is the larger loss of the two. Glass, a 3-star freshman for the Tigers, was unlikely to see playing time and was a redshirt candidate that could have potentially been used for depth. Hicks, however, is entering his 2nd year in the Missouri program after transferring from Wyoming in 2021. He has solid playing experience that could have made an impact for the Tigers this season.

He totaled 31 tackles in two seasons for the Cowboys before transferring to the Tigers in 2021.
