Panthers teammates hilariously parody Cam Newton’s ridiculous birthday video

The Carolina Panthers appear to be enjoying the offseason in more ways than one.
Quarterback Cam Newton, the former Auburn star, released a video on his birthday, May 11, on social media that featured various party scenes including several people on and jumping off of a boat. On Monday, center Ryan Kalil, who played college football at Southern Cal, also used the same background song from 2 Chainz, “Birthday Song,” but the production quality is a bit lower than Newton’s, albeit likely by design.
Kalil’s post was tagged from Lake Toxaway, N.C. which is about 150 miles west of Charlotte. He wrote, “Cam forgot to invite us to his birthday getaway so we didn’t invite him on our camping trip. #WeHadMoreFun.” Tight end Greg Olson even makes an appearance in Kalil’s video. Newton, meanwhile, was filmed in Central America.
