ESPN’s Pat McAfee once again delivered an epic closing pick at the end of College GameDay on Saturday.

McAfee and Co. are in Eugene, Oregon, this week for the Ducks’ marquee matchup against USC. At the end of the show, McAfee took center stage for his always-dramatic pick. McAfee initially praised USC in his comments.

“Southern California is where all the lights are,” he said. “Lincoln Riley is a beast.”

McAfee then switched gears and played to the home crowd behind the College GameDay set.

“Give me the Oregon Ducks to get a huge win today,” McAfee said.

This is a game with huge College Football Playoff implications for both teams. A loss would put Oregon’s CFP standing in doubt while a win while likely secure its position in the 12-team field.

For USC, the Trojans have to win this game in order to have a shot at landing in the CFP on selection day. USC already has 2 losses this season, but the Trojans could squeak into the field if they’re able to beat Oregon on the road on Saturday afternoon.

USC is 38-23-2 all-time against the Ducks. However, Oregon has won the last 3 meetings in this series.
