College GameDay was in Happy Valley on on Saturday morning ahead of Penn State and Oregon’s top-10 matchup.
To cap off the show, Pat McAfee did what he does best — hype up the crowd and, of course, he took his shirt off. That’s become a staple of College GameDay’s closing segment since McAfee joined the show.
After initially praising Oregon at the start of his segment, McAfee quickly changed gears and made his pick clear.
“With that being said, I’m from Pittsburgh,” McAfee said. “This is the state of football.”
Here’s a clip of GameDay’s finale from State College:
Penn State is looking to snap a lengthy losing streak to top-6 ranked AP opponents under James Franklin. However, the Nittany Lions are favored by as much as 3.5 points according to some sports betting apps ahead of this game against Oregon.
For the Ducks, this will be the second road game of the season. Earlier this month they defeated Northwestern on the road 34-14. However, this will be the first major road test for quarterback Dante Moore since his true freshman season at UCLA back in 2023.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
