Pat McAfee has become a star in the sports broadcasting world. His radio show has been very popular, and he has previously done some work for ESPN’s College GameDay and other college football coverage.
Now, he’s reportedly in the mix for another big-time gig.
Per Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, McAfee is in discussions to joining Amazon’s “Thursday Night Football” coverage team:
The Post has learned that McAfee and Amazon have been in discussions about the former NFL punter contributing to their “Thursday Night Football” coverage, which begins this fall.
There have also been conversations about potentially airing “The Pat McAfee Show” — his weekday talk show, sponsored by FanDuel, which airs on YouTube and SiriusXM — on Prime Video.
McAfee teased some potential big news on Twitter this week:
Hey…
Let’s all keep it cool but like.. I’m 1000% UP TO SOMETHING.

Nothing has been finalized yet, but it seems we could be seeing more of McAfee on NFL coverage this fall.
