Pat McAfee thinks the Kentucky Wildcats have just the type of offense that could defeat the Georgia Bulldogs.

On College GameDay Saturday, the former punter mentioned the Wildcats’ ability to pound the rock and Georgia’s susceptibility to this type of attack.

“He (Ray Davis) went for 280 yards on the ground against Florida last week,” explained McAfee. “189 of them after contact, and this is kind of the grit of this Kentucky team.”

McAfee sang the praises of Davis and the toughness of the Kentucky offensive line.

“That’s the type of offense that CAN get you an upset,” explained McAfee.

The Bulldogs are somewhat susceptible to the ground game. The team has just the No. 39 rushing defense in the nation and allows 113.40 yards per game. The Bulldogs’ pass defense is much stiffer, however, allowing just over 173 yards per game through the air.

The 5-0 Wildcats have taken many by surprise by remaining undefeated this long. Getting a win over the Bulldogs in Athens would be a program-defining win for the team. As McAfee pointed out, controlling time of possession and getting yards on the ground could easily lead to a Kentucky upset.

The Wildcats and Bulldogs are set to kick off from Athens at 7 p.m. ET.
