Former LSU All-American Patrick Peterson has developed into one of the NFL’s premiere defensive backs during his short time in the league.
Even Michael Jordan, a six-time NBA champion and five-time MVP, respects his game.
Peterson received a personalized care package from his former golfing buddy this week in prep for his new season with the Arizona Cardinals.
“(He) just sent me a gift,” Peterson said, according to ESPN.
That gift was a signed Chicago Bulls jersey and a special message from the NBA’s greatest player detailing how to handle yourself as a professional athlete.
Peterson told ESPN he plans to hang the jersey in his game room.
