The Iron Bowl is setting up to be one of the best in the history of the rivalry.

Paul Finebaum and Booger McFarland joined SportsCenter Sunday morning to discuss the events surrounding Saturday’s biggest game.

While Finebaum is certainly interested in what happens on the field, he’s more interested to see how Gus Malzahn handles the distraction of the Arkansas job this week.

“I’m interested in what happens with the demeanor of Gus Malzahn,” Finebaum explained. “I think he’s close to being offered the Arkansas job. How does he deal with that distraction before the Iron Bowl?”

Malzahn, of course, was asked about the Arkansas job rumors Saturday following the win over ULM, and he wasn’t too happy about it.

Although Alabama is ranked No. 1, McFarland is leaning Auburn.

“Alabama for the first time this season is at its most vulnerable,” McFarland explained. “I’m leaning Auburn in the Iron Bowl. I think they’re playing really well, and Alabama is so beat up.”

The consensus seems to be Alabama, Auburn and Georgia are all vying for one College Football Playoff spot, but things are certainly going to get interesting in the next two weeks.
