Paul Finebaum is taking the Dawgs in a lopsided game Saturday in Jacksonville.

No. 2 Georgia meets Florida for another chapter in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party and it’s a game that Georgia has flat-out dominated of late. The Dawgs have won 3 straight and 6 of the last 7. Florida scored a 44-28 win over Georgia in 2020, but the 6 Georgia wins since the start of the 2017 season have been by an average of 22.2 points per game.

During a hit on ESPN’s Get Up morning show on Friday, Finebaum said he is expecting more of the same.

“I expect something close to a blowout. Georgia has come on. Even though Carson Beck has thrown way too many interceptions, Georgia still looks like one of the 2 or 3 best teams in the country,” Finebaum said. “Florida’s problems are endless. They’re getting better, but they’re still losing. The game is really about Billy Napier. Can he make it respectable? I can’t believe I’m saying that about a Florida head football coach, but that’s the shape he is in right now.”

To be fair to Florida, the Gators did lose to Tennessee in Knoxville in Week 7, but that was by just 6 points in overtime. Florida has won 3 of its last 4 since opening the season 1-2. The Gators beat UCF at home on Oct. 5 and beat Kentucky on Oct. 19 48-20.

Jadan Baugh ran for 5 touchdowns and DJ Lagway threw for 259 yards on just 7 completions in that game against the Wildcats. The Gators found some real juice from their dynamo freshmen. The 48 points scored against Kentucky marked a season-high and were the most Florida has scored against another FBS opponent since putting 63 on Arkansas in November 2020.

Kickoff from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Georgia is a 14.5-point favorite in the game (via ESPN Bet).
