After an action-packed weekend of college football, Paul Finebaum and Matt Barrie discussed who is the No. 1 team between Georgia and Michigan.

Both teams have been perfect so far this season, though neither team has faced much real competition. As it stands right now, Barrie believes it’s Michigan, but Finebaum thinks Georgia is the top team.

“I’m kind of stuck on Georgia because I don’t think they’ve done anything to lose that,” Finebaum said. “We’ll get into the whole committee thing here in about 2 weeks, let them make the choice cause it won’t be ours any longer. But I think it’s a fair argument, whether you like (Michigan) or not, they are the most impressive team in the country.”

Barrie believes that if the Bulldogs and Wolverines faced off today, Michigan would come out on top.

“I’m not taking anything away from Georgia, they’ve won 24 in a row,” Barrie said. “Their resume speaks for themselves back to that national championship. But if I’m doing it right here, right now, based on what I’ve seen, I’d be hard pressed not to favor Michigan in any game on a neutral site.”

Both teams have a tough November ahead of them, and we should have a much better idea of who the top team is in a few weeks.
