Paul Finebaum joined the crew at KJM Tuesday morning to give his final top 4 ahead of the College Football Playoff poll being released, which is set for 7 p.m. EST Tuesday night.
Finebaum has stuck to his thought process of Ohio State being No. 1 all season, but noted that the CFP Poll will likely look a little different. He named the team he thinks is most likely to be revealed as No. 1 to start things off.
“Well, my top 4 will not mirror what we are going to see tonight,” Finebaum said. “I still like Ohio State as the most complete team, after that Georgia, Tennessee and Michigan. Having said that, there’s a lot of reason to believe Tennessee could end up No. 1 tonight based on the win 3 weeks ago over Alabama.”
Tennessee and Georgia face off this week to truly decide things. The Vols and Bulldogs are certainly playing like the 2 best teams in America right now, and a win would trump anything Ohio State has done to this point in the season.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
