Paul Finebaum says Michigan has no time for patience after Week 2. That’s understandable considering the way the Wolverines were routed at home.

During ESPN’s Wednesday morning broadcast of “Get Up,” Finebaum says it’s time for “all panic” in Ann Arbor and went on to destroy the Wolverines for their performance. He acknowledged Texas might be a great team, but Michigan also looked embarrassing at home as the defending national champions.

“Absolutely no patience, all panic here. That was an inexcusable performance. I realize that they were playing Texas which is a very good team if not a great team but you’re at home. You’re the reigning national champion,” said Finebaum. “Show up at least! Texas beat them up and down the field on both sides of the line. Truly embarrassing. I’m sure somewhere Jim Harbaugh was saying ‘Hey, I made a pretty good decision to get out of here, didn’t I’?”

Heather Dinich was also asked about the situation, and she agreed it’s time to put Michigan on panic as a team who might lose 4-5 games this season.

“You’ve got to play better, be sound up front on both sides of the ball… They’ve got to look the part, and they’ve got to turn it around against some quality competition,” Dinich explained.

One area Michigan has looked totally lost at is quarterback where Davis Warren has struggled mightily and Alex Orji has not seen much playing time thus far. We’ll see if the Wolverines stick with those two or potentially turn to Jack Tuttle in Week 3 and beyond, but there’s no denying Sherrone Moore needs more from the QB position to compete.
