Alabama coach Nick Saban is getting the Crimson Tide ready for a potential 16th national championship, and perhaps, his own place atop the best.
Saban has certainly cemented himself among the greatest coaches in college football history, but SEC Network’s Paul Finebaum took it further by telling ESPN’s Mike & Mike that Saban would claim the status of G.O.A.T. with a win on Monday in the national championship game against Clemson.
Saban has won four national championships (one at LSU, three at Alabama).

Along with winning the ultimate prize, Alabama has been remarkably consistent under Saban. The Tide has been ranked in every Associated Press Poll dating back to the preseason poll in 2008.
