Peyton Manning is back on Rocky Top for a big weekend in Knoxville.

Manning threw out the first pitch ahead of No. 4 Tennessee baseball’s game against No. 1 Arkansas.

Volunteers skipper Tony Vitello might want to ask Manning to throw out the first pitch every home game. Facing Arkansas pitcher Patrick Wicklander (1.69 ERA), UT jumped out to a 5-0 lead on the Razorbacks in the first inning. Jake Rucker knocked in two runs with a double and Jordan Beck contributed a three-run home run. The Hogs have made it 5-2 in the top of the second inning.

Adding to the excitement, it’s a packed house at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Unfortunately, with the SEC baseball TV schedule set in advance, the game is not on TV and only streaming via SEC Network+.
