SEC leads way with 9 first-teamers in Phil Steele’s Postseason All-American Team

Phil Steele released his postseason All-American teams on Thursday, and the SEC led the way with nine first-teamers on his All-American squad, four more than any other conference.

Below is a list of all the SEC players chosen on the four squads that make up his All-American Team. For his full All-SEC Team, you can check it out here.

All in all, he had 27 SEC players among his four All-American teams. Here’s a quick breakdown by team: Alabama 6, Florida 5, Ole Miss 3, Texas A&M 3, Arkansas 2, LSU 2, Tennessee 2, Auburn 1, Mississippi State 1, Missouri 1, Vanderbilt 1.
