Alabama associate head coach/running backs coach Burton Burns has been with Nick Saban ever since Day 1 in Tuscaloosa.
During that time, the Crimson Tide have built a dynasty while also building a factory for running backs. Burns posted this picture on Twitter of him standing next to the Heisman trophies of former backs Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry, the school’s only two Heisman winners.

In addition to this pair, Burns also coached a Heisman finalist in Trent Richardson in 2011. Now entering his 10th season with the Tide, Alabama has only finished worse than 5th in the SEC in rushing yards per game twice in his nine seasons, and that was in his first year in 2007 as well as 2014.
