The Razorbacks’ main border rivalry games went their way last season, and they’re making sure everyone knows.
Arkansas went 8-5 while beating LSU for the Golden Boot and Missouri for the Battle Line Trophy. On Wednesday, the school’s athletic director Jeff Long poked some fun at the Tigers and, well, the Tigers, by tweeting this photo out.
It includes a nifty display that features both of the trophies while reading “Defend the Border.” Of course, the Hogs also took down Tennessee and Tennessee-Martin, so they technically defended their border against Tennessee. That’s a key missed opportunity there from Long.
