Photo: Connecticut newspaper makes awkward mistake in Chad Kelly story

When the Denver Broncos selected former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly with the final pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, he became Mr. Irrelevant.
However, even he probably didn’t think he’d become irrelevant so quickly.
But, in a story posted by a Connecticut newspaper after the draft, the headline made the awkward mistake of saying Kelly was a former Mississippi State quarterback:

With the intense rivalry between the two schools in the Magnolia State, that error is likely to anger fans of both teams.
Mr. Irrelevant clearly has a lot of work to do to make his name known outside of the southeast.
