Since Les Miles was jettisoned from the head coaching post, LSU has been on a hot-streak.

Interim head coach Ed Orgeron has led the Tigers to victories in four of the past five games — including Saturday’s 38-10 trouncing of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Not only did LSU gain a very good win over a fellow SEC West opponent, but it earned a famous trophy in the process:

These geographical rivals share a border. ‘The Boot’ is the prize for the winner of the annual game. Prior to Saturday night, Arkansas had won the last two meetings between the programs.

However, LSU is very happy to have the trophy residing back in the Pelican State.
