Photo: LSU unveils helmet decal for late mascot Mike the Tiger

LSU coach Ed Orgeron announced Thursday night that the team will wear a Mike VI helmet decal in remembrance of the team’s late live mascot, Mike the Tiger.
Ed Orgeron said #LSU will put a decal on the back of the helmet to honor Mike VI's passing.

LSU is wearing its white helmets this week against Southern Miss to go along with its purple jerseys, in place of the traditional home uniform.
Mike VI passed Tuesday afternoon after a four-month battle with cancer. He had been moved to hospice care on Monday.
