Though Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes defeated Saban’s Crimson Tide two years ago in the national championship game, Alabama won the title last year, so the Tide currently have bragging rights.
Alabama opens its title defense on Saturday, Sept. 3, against USC at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
