Vanderbilt football players got to hang out with rapper ASAP Ferg at a Friday team meeting.

The “Shabba” rapper is in the Music City to perform at the “Commodore Quake” concert, part of Vanderbilt’s homecoming celebration.

Coming off a big win over Georgia, VU coach Derek Mason is looking for Year 3 to be the season his squad reaches a new level.

Vanderbilt’s homecoming game against Middle Tennessee can be seen at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
