ESPN and Marvel have teamed up once again to create some incredible artwork heading into the start of the college football season. The two companies have joined forces for a few consecutive years and this rendition is by far the best that’s been released.

To celebrate the start of the upcoming college football season, the season openers for Alabama, Auburn and LSU have all been featured with unique artwork below.

Here are the four covers released on Thursday, along with the information regarding each piece of art. This year, the games pay homage to comic books released long ago.

Alabama vs. Louisville

  • Original artist: Gil Kane from Invincible Iron Man #66; Homage artist: Ron Lim, Roberto Poggi, Carlos Lopez

Auburn vs. Washington

  • Original artist: Marco Djurdjevic from Civil War II #1; Homage artist: Ariel Olivetti

LSU vs. Miami

  • Original artist: Earl Norem from The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #29; Homage artist: Yvel Guichet, Romulo Fajardo Jr.

Ohio State vs. Oregon State

  • Original artist: Michael Cho, Claudia Davila from Civil War II #3 (variant); Homage artist: Juan Doe
